Patients travel to the clinic to attend sessions and then return home the same day. Typically, a therapy session lasts from 30 minutes to an hour. Attending an outpatient program allows the patient to be at home and still continue to complete their course of therapy.

Physical therapy is a treatment utilizing exercise, electrical stimulation, ultrasound, heat, ice, massage and education to return a person to normal function following an injury or illness.
